Why you should adopt your next best friend
If you are considering adding a new dog or cat to your family, please adopt. Georgia shelters and rescue groups are overflowing with wonderful animals just hoping to be your best friend.  Adopting through a rescue will help you make the right decision.

- talk to foster parents about temperament and personalities
- ask questions and get the help you need to choose the right animal
- the animal has been seen by a vet and any health issues are known and addressed.
- many rescues have pure breeds and puppies of almost every kind.

There are thousands of cats and dogs that will never make it out of Georgia animal shelters.

These are loving animals that for whatever reason just were not wanted any more or were lost and strays. We should all be responsible pet owners spay/neuter and adopt.
